Project Description
MASTERS GREENWAY
This 5.9-hectare park protects important mature forest and riparian (streamside) communities along the Puntledge River which act as an important habitat area and movement corridor for wildlife. The land was donated to the CVRD as a park by Ruth Masters with a conservation covenant held by CVLT. Ruth was an ardent conservationist and is well known for her many and varied contributions to our community. The land had been in the Masters family since 1920, and at one time the family homestead was located on this site.
