RUTH MASTERS GREENWAY

This 5.9-hectare park protects important mature forest and riparian (streamside) communities along the Puntledge River that act as an important habitat area and movement corridor for wildlife. The land was donated to the CVRD as a park by Ruth Masters with a conservation covenant held by CVLT. Ruth was an ardent conservationist and is well known for her many and varied contributions to our community. The land had been in the Masters family since 1920, and at one time the family homestead was located on this site.

The park is located at 68 Powerhouse Road and parking is available along Powerhouse as well as on Mellifera Place. Dogs are allowed on leash. There is no cycling on the park trails; horses are not allowed on the paths. Be bear aware in this park.
