A service offered to developers that scores their development proposal against the principles in "Nature Without Borders"
 

City of Courtenay Agency Referral
Development proposals that involve
any sensitive environmental features or amenities are referred to the CVLT who then involves the Stewarship Grpoup in that watershedto make comment on the proposal

Comox Valley Conservation Strategy Community Partnership
A partnership of 20 local environmental and ratepayer groups formed to move the recommendations and concepts in the document "Nature Without Borders". There are four implementation Teams hard at work in our community. They are:
Education and Outreach - Kerry Dawson 
Capacity Building - Kathryn Clousten
Local Government - Jack Minard
Environmental Mapping and Inventory - Steve Morgan
